Stay in the Middle of Your Vision

, in the middle of your field, refuse to yield, defend your patch, strike the Philistines down, fight even if others run, depend on God. God will bring victory.



^{2Sam23:11-12-11} Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel's troops fled from them. ¹² But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.



The Battle is the Lord’s

¹⁵ And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.



Put on God’s whole Armour

^{Eph6:10-18 0}Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. ¹²For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. ¹⁴Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. ¹⁸And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.



<sup>You’re in a warfare

2Cor10:3-5 3</sup>For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. ⁴The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. ⁵We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.



You’re a soldier

2Tm:2:3: Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2Tm:2:4: No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Take the kingdom by force

Matt.11:12 ¹² And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

2Tm:4:7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

1Tm:6:12: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1Co:9:26: I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

God is on your side

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Ac:5:39: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

Ac:23:9: And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.



Who shall separate us fro the Love of God?

³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written:


“ For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”<sup>[a]

37</sup> Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Zec:10:5: And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

Zec:14:3: Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Ph'p:1:6: Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Ph'p:1:15: Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

Ph'p:2:13: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Ph'p:2:19: But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

Fight for your mind

Ph'p:4:8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
