Exodus 20:5-6

I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

The Bible speaks about the creation of the universe. In the beginning, 1st Book,

Book of Genesis, 1st Ch., it is mentioned -

It says…

‘Almighty God created the Heavens and the Earth, in six days and talks about a evening and a morning, referring to a 24 - hour day.

Today scientists tell us, that the universe cannot be created in a 24

hour period of six days. Qur’an too speaks about six ‘ayyams’. The

Arabic word singular is ‘yaum’ plural is ‘ayyam’. It can either mean a

In a fascinating encounter, Jesus pointed out a contradiction in the Bible of that time (the Old Testament), and didn't even give an answer to the apparent contradiction he had raised!

This raises some interesting questions: why didn't Jesus answer this contradiction? Why didn't he give an answer to the skeptics and the critics? Why did he allow this apparent contradiction in the Bible to go unresolved, after he had raised the question himself? Wouldn't this lead people into doubt and uncertainty ...

Near the close of his first letter to the church at Thessalonica, the apostle Paul addressed the subject of Christ’s Second Coming. He indicated that “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God” (4:16). The Christians in Thessalonica were not to be concerned with what would happen to Christians who had passed from this life prior to Jesus’ return.
How many angels were at the tomb - one or two?

This is a pet question of non-believers who like to denounce the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They will be very quick to point out that according to Gospels recorded by Mathew and Luke, there is only one angel, whereas, John and Mark record two angels at the tomb, when Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome visited the grave of Jesus Christ on Sabbath day after His crucifixion.

His appearance was like lightning, and ...

Adam was the first man who walked on earth. Why do I believe that he was real, because the Bible says so and that is enough for me. God said it and He can't lie. the part about God can lie was a typo, sory!

I do not believe in Bible, because the Bible says that hare chews cud. The science says it does not?

The problem is not with the Bible or science, the problem is with the little knowledge we have and we just ask such questions because we have herad others say so. So it is simple to reject God's word. Is the God's word based on hare chewing cud?

This statement is made in Leviticus 11:6, where the Hebrew word literally means "raises up what has been swallowed." The rabbit ...

Doesn't Bible encourage us to take law in our own hands and do wrong to others when Bible says "eye for an eye"? Moreover, if a blind man, injures an eye of a healthy person, how this allow would be applied?

First of all, this law was for Judges and not for a come man to decide. The Judges appointed were asked to be fair in their dealings. Eye for an eye rule basically tells a Judge to be fair in thier judgement.

Matthew 5:38 is so often misquoted by the world. Many ...

God said that He would blot out all the remembrance of Amalek. Does not Bible disprove the statement mentioning Amalek to this day?

In Exodus 17:14, God told Moses to "write this for a memorial in a book..." Moses did that and God preserved the Book for 5,000 years, so skeptics would know that God keeps every promise He makes. The phrase "I will utterly put out of the rememberance of Amalek from under heaven" means that he will blot them out as a nation from the ...

Does God in the Bible suppress by making them submit to husbands?

The Bible does say, "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord," but it also instructs, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it" (Ephesians 5:22,25). A man who understands that Jesus Christ sacrificed His life’s blood for the Church will likewise love his wife sacrificially and passionately. He will honor her, respect her, protect, ...

Many non-believers say that Adam is a mythical figure in the Bible, therefore Bible is based on myth. Therefore, I do not believe in Bible.

Adam is a key figure in Bible. He is described as the "first Adam," the one who brought sin into the world. He made it necessary for Jesus, the "last Adam," to atone for all humans, and then rise from the grave with the promise of complete redemption for fallen man and fallen creation. If Adam was just a myth, we would not ...
