lol. The new preacher explained the Bible well and the committee also knew the Bible well. I loved it and we must also have a "Jokes Section" like other forums.

Jokes Section was never made because in the excuse of "God has sense of Humor" people blaspheme and I will not allow this to happen that someone makes fun of my God whom I worship.

I never had Poetry Section but I opened it for my friend Fenny West as I know that he will not go beyond what is written. However, you can ask Fenny that first condition, I put before him was that his poetry will not go beyond what is written.

Thank you forhisglory for sharing a joke here. However, I think the Bible as according to God should be used as the following and not for making fun.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Moreover, when we say Bible, we mean Jesus. I do not think that it is wise to make fun of Bible as we directly make fun of Jesus.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning (John 1:1)

We should not even endorse such types of jokes because here we are adding and deleting the words of the Bible and Bible is very clear on what God does to people who do that.

Regarding "God has sense of humor and that is why we also have it in our natures". I ask we have lust, desire to sex, desire to sin in our natures - Now you be the judge, I will not comment further.

Do not go beyond what is written. (1 Corinthians 4:6)

I do not know but I think that there is nothing wrong in having fun. It was only a joke and God knows our intentions, whether we are blaspheming or we mean nothing. A harmless smile.

I believe slander is a sin and Paul in 1 Corinthians wrote, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived;...slanderers...will inherit the Kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

I pray that I did not hurt anyone here and if I did please forgive me but this is what the Bible says about slander or joke or making fun.

Hi Daniel, I am sorry it offended you. I did not look at it in a serious way but since you have mention it, and I am not suppose to cause a brother to stumble, so thereby I will remove the joke. I to believe we should not make fun of the word of God. Thank you for your opinion now I see where you are going. God bless you Daniel, and I apologized to all who were offended. I really looked at it as myself sometimes I get some people of the Bible mixed up nothing else, also with so many story’s in the bible, anybody as a new beginner can get mixed up. forhisglory

Word of God is no joke. I am sometimes amazed at Christians. They will make fun of Jesus and Bible all in "God has sense of humor". But when it comes to other religions, they become Christians and tell others, Jesus said not to talk against others. Amazing!!! If you do not like it here then you can join another forum that has Jokes Section. We are nothing but just bunch of hypocrites and liars. With the same tongue we pray and then afterwards make fun of Bible, the words that came out of mouth of God.

AMEN thirsty and forhisglory has made me learn that showing Christian attitude is lot better than sticking to our ego. I have to change myself and forhisglory gave me positive motivation to do so. I am not saying who is right and who is wrong but I am just trying to say that we can say sorry even if we are right. Thank you forhisglory as I learnt this from you. God bless you.

I am sorry Daniel for I did not realize this and I have vowed not to read any more Christian Jokes because I did not know that they make us sin. Thank you for your friendly reminder. I may have never said this but forhisglory gave me courage to say so.
