Dear Susan
Sorry for posting it late. First of all we change the Navigation Bar. It is very important as many spammers register as members and PM all the members.
Open your Administrative Control Panel (ACP) and go to Users & Groups and scroll down. On your left menu, you will see Special Rights Click that.
This will open the following page.
Now check the following
Search Rights Guests
FAQ Guests
Calendar Guests
Memberlist Adminstrator
Usergroups Administrator
Board Statistics Guests
This will keep spammers away from your forum as they will not be able to see Memberlist. This will only be visible to you.
