You are just beating around the bush. Yes you can worship the way you want and your family wants, no one forced you to write an article against Easter. You wrote it yourself, so when you write, you should expect an answer too.

The verse you quoted, is again irrelevant. Easter is celebrated by Christians and we do not celebrate it in any pagan way. We go to Church, attend the worship, sing praise songs, thank Heavenly Father and remember Jesus Christ' victory over death, I do not find anything pagan in it. People confuse its name with Eastre goddess. If you think it is evil then it is your choice, I think celebrating resurrection of Jesus is holy, so let it be this way.

If we live, we live to the LORD; and if we die, we die to the LORD. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the LORD. (Romans 14:8)

Easter is a celebration of resurrection of Jesus Christ, whether it is celebrated on Easter Day, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Doom's Day, it will always be HOLY as we commemorate the resurrection of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I do not agree with you and why I am not convinced with all the proofs you have given against sinners like me, who celebrate Easter:

I think, you would also throw Apostle Paul into hell, like you have thrown me into hell.

And Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus, said, 'Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you. (ACTS 17:22-23)

If you call my celebrating the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Day evil, so let it be. I know what the truth is and I certainly do not need your prophetic insight. Anything that is consecrated to Jesus Christ is Holy.

If part of a batch of dough is made holy by offered to God, then all of the dough is holy. If the roots of a tree is holy, the rest of the tree is holy too. (Romans 11:16)

I do not believe in the twisted history you quoted.

First it was Nimrod's wife (no historical proof) that you connected to Easter.

Later in your reply you made Ishtar, the fertility goddess the Eastre.

Then you had no answer to the Biblical verse I quoted, and left that discusssion and started a new one.

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath Day. These are shadow of the things that were to come; the reality. however, is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Putting Romans 11:16 as my guide, even if Easter was practiced by pagans, once it is consecrated to Jesus Christ, it is holy.
