As the dear pants for water,
So my soul longs for You. Lord
As the dry land is thirsty for water,
So my soul thirsts for You, Lord.
CH: Give me O Lord,
an undivided heart
a heart after Your own heart X2
As a faithful dog
looks to its master,
So my soul looks to You.
As a faithful maid
Looks to her mistress,
So my soul looks to You, Lord.
As a faithful Husband
Looks to his loving wife,
So my soul looks to You, Lord
As a faithful wife
Looks to her dear husband
So my soul looks to You, Lord
