Questions

He came in to see me, with questions on his mind;

He was in a struggle and he closed the door behind.

I asked if I could help, his expression was so odd;

Then he asked the question, “What’s it like, talking to God”?

“Will I be able to talk to him, face to face”;

I said “I’m sorry, but that’s not quite the case”.

“I’ve heard people say, God told them something to do”;

“Will I be able to see him, like I do you”?

I said “God did come to earth as Jesus, this I know is true”;

“And one thing is for sure; he is waiting to talk to you”.

He wants us to repent our sins, and sometimes that’s hard to do;

Humble yourself before him and he will draw near to you.

Here let’s take my Bible and we’ll take a walk down Romans road;

I’ll introduce you to Jesus; and he will save your soul.

And if talking to God, is truly what you seek;

Then simply bow your head and begin to speak.

And if you want to see God, see him move before your face;

Take a look around, for God is every place.

Listen to these scriptures, for he is closer than a friend;

And in a few minutes he said “God forgive me, for I know that I have sinned….
