Arise, O Church of God, arise with the Word

Arise from slumber; hear cries of the dying

See, the fields are white, beckoning for harvest

Have compassion and vision, hear Him calling

Go with courage; fulfil the Master’s great quest

Yield, O saints, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb

Reach out! Share your bread like those lepers

There are many in the cold belonging to your fold

Share the Good News of the Gospel, be a rope holder

Go in the name above all names, fear not; be bold!

God will go before you to make crooked paths straight

As you open your mouth, know that He will fill it

Go into the byways and the high ways, preach the Word

Preach with passion, conviction; take the land bit by bit

With signs and wonders, God will confirm His Word.

Go regardless of how you feel, go with the Spirit

Flow with Him and let Him lead the way

Trust in Him to give power, unction, for the hour

Go where He points and do what He says

The Word is near you and in your mouth: Speak it!

Speak it!

Speak it!, preach it, war with it, do it.

Let the word be your watch word.

Pray it, pass it; paint pictures with it.

Let the whole world hear of the Good News.

Memorise it, meditate on it, sing it.

Let the lost, the dying and hopeless hear.

Witness with it, win souls with it.
