Positives of High Gas Price
We get more time to be in our family’s lives
More time to go walking or to exercise
More time for eating dinner meals, families together
Or more time to talk or to complain about the weather
More time to help our children with homework
More time for personal projects worked
More time to read a storybook to our kids
Or more time to listen to what all they have did
More time for friends and neighbors to visit
More time with our teens or maybe rules to revisit
More time to be together with our spouse
Or more time to help clean around the house
More time to read a novel or a short story in a book
More time to take a breath or to simply stop and look
We get more time to play that all important game of catch
Or more time with Fido to teach him to fetch
How about more time to share the Gospel with the lost
How about more time to ponder our Salvation’s cost
More time to be, one of God’s chosen disciples
Or more time to read and meditate in our Bibles
You see, there is an upside to gas’ higher price
Maybe this is God’s way, of making us get it right!
