Courage and Confidence come from the Word

Planted, watered, on the inside of you

The Spirit will dig it out in time of need

And feed your soul so that it can bloom in doom.

Courage and confidence can come in crisis

When you look to the Author and Finisher

Who went before you to endure the cross

To give the reason to believe that you can.

Drought, rain, dreary experience come to all,

But courage and confidence will carry you through

The thick and thin, summer or winter;

Cast down but not destroyed,

knocked down but not knocked out;

Because the Greater One lives within-

Your Shield, Sun, Shelter and Song.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the
goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall
strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psalm 27:13,14 KJV

Be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the LORD.

Psalm 31:24 KJV

He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might
He increases strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
