God's Dwelling Place

God’s Dwelling Place
Sometimes when death happens; it catches us off guard
We are stirred with emotions; at times it hits faith hard
We ask questions like, is there a Heaven; does it really exist
And who will be there; how about the loved ones, I’ve missed
Heaven is God’s dwelling place; a place of continual praise
A place of great joy and satisfaction; where God is worshipped, always
A place of no crying or mourning; no pain, sickness or death
No hunger, thirst, violence or wars; only peace and rest
The righteous will be there and those redeemed through Christ
And all races and nationalities will commune in paradise
Heaven is our Father’s House; where a multitude of angels trod
And where our Redeemer sits; at the right hand of our God
Yes my friend, there is a Heaven; for all of us to share
And if Jesus is our Savior; we’ll see our loved ones there
