Testing Comes, Not to Ruin
Testing Comes not to ruin
But to prove, purify
Prepare and to prune
Better, even to beautify
Testing comes to remove
Dirt, dust, dross, scum, bad smells
And birth His life of love
To keep you from curse, hell.
For when the fire comes
Impurities must go;
Then His Kingdom can come,
As with His Spirit you flow.
Testing will always be there
To take you to a higher plane;
Not that He does not care,
But for His gold to be plain.
Egypt has to come out of you
For you live in Canaan
God wants to brag with you;
That is His divine plan.
But to prove, purify
Prepare and to prune
Better, even to beautify
Testing comes to remove
Dirt, dust, dross, scum, bad smells
And birth His life of love
To keep you from curse, hell.

Impurities must go;
Then His Kingdom can come,
As with His Spirit you flow.

To take you to a higher plane;
Not that He does not care,
But for His gold to be plain.
Egypt has to come out of you
For you live in Canaan
God wants to brag with you;
That is His divine plan.
Ps66:10-12New Living
You have tested us, O God;
you have purified us like silver.
11 You captured us in your net
and laid the burden of slavery on our backs.
12 Then you put a leader over us
We went through fire and flood,
but you brought us to a place of great abundance
Re: Testing Comes, Not to Ruin
This poem Fenny reminds me of the book of Job, the great
testing the Lord allowed, as he wagered a bet with Satan that
his servant Job would remain true to Him. Blessings.
