‘It is finished’, He said

‘It is finished’, He said,
Because He looked ahead,
Saw the work completed
And Satan defeated.

Because it is finished,
I shall not be famished.
God will fully furnish
What I need to finish.

This race will be finished
Very well, with finesse.
Coz He began to finish,
I trust Him to finish.

So I am not finished
Coz He’s not finished.
And when He has finished
It shall be done: Finished!

³⁰When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

⁷I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
