Essence of His Presence 4

1Ki:10:4: And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,
1Ki:10:5: And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
1Ki:10:6: And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.
1Ki:10:7: Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceeded the fame which I heard.
1Ki:10:8: Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
1Ki:10:9: Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
1Ki:10:10: And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
The word of God tell us for eye has no seen ear has not heard neither has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him.

Truly, whatever you have seen of God cannot be compare to what you have not seen. And God always wants to reveal more of Himself to us. But it will only come as we come before His presence and crave for it, cry for it, whine for it, press for it , contend for it. ‘If you seek me you will find me if you seek me with all your heart. The secret of the Lord is revealed t those who fear Him. I will pour water on those who are thirsty.’ The psalmist new the importance of His presence hence he said,’ give ear to my voice O, Lord. Consider my meditation. Hearken unto my voice, my king and my God. For to You will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning. O Lord, in the morning will I direct my prayer and wait in expectation.’ Again he said, ‘O Lord, You are my God, earnestly I’ll seek you, my soul longs for You in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I will praise you in your sanctuary , and behold your power and glory. Your love is better than wine. My lips will glorify You.. Yet again, ‘one thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life; to be hold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire of you in your temple,…’ one day in your presence is better than a thousand elsewhere . I would rather be a door-keeper in the hose of the Lord than t to be a king in the tents of the wicked.’
Those that wait daily, early at your gate will not go empty handed. The will doubtless go out furnished, filed, fuelled , adorned, crowned, infused, beautified, edified and fortified for service.

The queen of Sheba had heard much about King Solomon; his fame had gone before him, proclaimed all over the world, but when she came into his presence it turned out that what she had heard was a gross understatement.

His table was overflowing with delicatessen beyond imagination; your mouth watered from a mile away. His waiters and servants were very happy, symphonized and flowed like a great river and the best orchestra you have ever seen. His mouth flowed with wisdom beyond compare. There was joy, awe, pomp, pageantry, chemistry, majesty, great glory in his presence. She was simply wowed! And she had to confess and even praise his God.

If this was true of the presence of King Solomon, what do you think of the presence of the King of Kings?

~Indeed,those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They will mount up with wings as the eagle they will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. God will recharge their battery by His spirit; Empower them to do great exploits; enable them to see through His eyes. He will tell them very intimate secrets about what He is about to do in the earth so that they can intercede like Abraham and make a difference.
Those who are thirsty will be filled. Those who are hungry will be satisfied. They will go loaded like the Israelites before they departed Egypt, because in His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

So my friend, make it a habit of coming to his presence and dwelling there. Be like Mary who found His presence and would not allow any distraction, encumbrance or the tyranny of urgency to dislodge her focus.
And when we have been so furnished, empowered and impacted in His presence we will be able to go about as His true ambassadors doing good, spreading His aroma such that those who come in contact with us will be giving glory to Him.

I pray that this will be your and my desire each and every day of your life.

In His Presence
Where there is wisdom galore
Come without pretence
And He will open the door
Sit still and sip, sup, devour Him.

In His presence is peace
Profound, no where else can be found
There your turmoil will cease
As He touches you to make you sound
Stay, pray, don’t stray, sing a song.

In His presence is prosperity
To help you leap over walls
There you also find security
So you can stand strong and tall
Reach for it, press for it, follow after it.

In His presence is great pleasure
To make your face radiant
Trill you beyond measure
Give you life super-abundant
Go for it, fight for it, content for it.

Delight in His presence
Where there is anointing
Power for your defence
You r whole being igniting.
