When Everything Amounts To Nothing

When Everything Amounts To Nothing
When everything amounts to nothing
You say you have everything
But all you have is nothing
When you think you are full
But truly you are empty
Then it’s time to think again.
You think you’re sufficient
But you’re very deficient
That’s the Laodecean spirit
Where the show goes on
Even when the Spirit is has gone.
You’re neither hot nor cold
Satan has a stranglehold
You think you have vision
But you ‘re as blind as a bat
You only see earthly things
Heavenly things are foreign
You forage in the mud and mire
You think you’re well-clothed
But you parade nakedness
You think you feast on delicacies
Bu it is all worldly, deceptive junks
You think you bathe in opulence,
Lie in the lap of luxury, filthy rich,
But you are as broke as a joke.
You are simply, wholly wretched.
When you think you’re spiritual
But it is all sensual, temporal
When you think it is Christianity
But it is all religiosity, empty
When you think you’re in heaven
But you’re in hell’s gate, deadly haven
You’re in Lucifer’s domain, citadel
When you feel overjoyed
When in fact you live in Miseryland
You say you have everything
But it is all zilch, empty, nothing
What do you do?
Where do you go?
Go to the Lord.
Take counsel
From the Counsellor
Buy eye salve from Him
Apply it to your eyes
Then you will see better
Things that are higher
You will see through God’s eyes
Hear through His ears
Walk in His footsteps
Delight in His wine
Desire His desires
Talk as He talked
Walk as He walked
Go to the Lord
Buy gold, pure gold
Refined in the Refiner’s fire
To lift you from the mire
Adversity bringing purity
Poverty bringing true riches
Trials bringing triumphs
Sufferings being training
So with Him you can reign.
Go to the Lord
Buy white garment
Divine raiment
Righteous garment
Righteousness of God
Not of works lest you boast
With the right apparel
You can partake of the feast
Marriage Supper of the Lamb
When you feel too proud
And you become so loud
Humble yourself, go to the cross
It will sure be no loss
Learn of the Lord
Make yourself of no reputation
Even if you have every reputation
Resort to no disputation
About your reputation
Abandon your worldliness
Abandon your riches on the earth
Feed on divine, heavenly diet
Abase yourself before the Lord
Then He will lift you up
Seek His Kingdom first
Then He will add other things
Make His priority your priority
Go to the Lord
Let Him light your fire
For you to go higher
Embrace the furnace
In this great Race
It lets you see His face
Enjoy His presence
Let Him work in you
To work through you
Let Him refine you
Retune you, fine-tune you
Rewire you, reconfigure you
Reprogram you, recreate you
Restructure, revive, resurrect you.
Go to the Lord to
Beautify you
Purify you
Transform you
Conform you
To His image
So you like His likes
Embrace his sufferings
Appreciate your sufferings
You know
it brings depth
It brings power
Because you have died to self
And you have risen again
Just like He rose again
You live in Him
He lives in you
He knocked on your door
You opened for Him
He came in as Lord
He brought the dinner
You dined with Him
and He dined with you
you’re on fire again
lukewarmness has gone
Glory be to God!
Re:3:14: And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Re:3:15: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Re:3:16: So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Re:3:17: Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Re:3:18: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Re:3:19: As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Re:3:20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Re:3:21: To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Re:3:22: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
