Born to Give Glory to God
Once lost in deep darkness,
Foul, full of blindness
Corroded, corrupted, decaying,
Beaten, battered, broken, acing
Hopeless, useless, meaningless,
I came to the King of kings
Bowed the knee, confessed
my sin and was forgiven, let out of prison
Given a clean slate, raised, washed, ordained
anchored, retuned, rewired and ignited by Jesus Christ.
Born to shine as light
Dispelling the night
Lamp to the house
No more a house mouse
That comes out in the night
Given a divine assignment
For full fulfillment
Anointed and appointed
To give glory to God

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph2:10
