He Supplies Where He Presides
"The barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which He spake by Elijah."-1 Kings 17:16
See the faithfulness of divine love. You observe that this woman had daily necessities. She had herself and her son to feed in a time of famine; and now, in addition, the prophet Elijah was to be fed too. But though the need was threefold, yet the supply of meal wasted not, for she had a constant supply. Each day she made calls upon the barrel, but yet each day it remained the same. You, dear reader, have daily necessities, and because they come so frequently, you are apt to fear that the barrel of meal will one day be empty, and the cruse of oil will fail you. Rest assured that, according to the Word of God, this shall not be the case. Each day, though it bring its trouble, shall bring its help; and though you should live to outnumber the years of Methuselah, and though your needs should be as many as the sands of the seashore, yet shall God's grace and mercy last through all your necessities, and you shall never know a real lack.
For three long years, in this widow's days,!
the heavens never saw a cloud, and the stars never wept a holy tear of dew upon the wicked earth: famine, and desolation, and death, made the land a howling wilderness, but this woman never was hungry, but always joyful in abundance.
So shall it be with you. You shall see the sinner's hope perish, for he trusts his native strength; you shall see the proud Pharisee's confidence totter, for he builds his hope upon the sand; you shall see even your own schemes blasted and withered, but you yourself shall find that your place of defence shall be the munition of rocks: "Your bread shall be given you, and your water shall be sure." Better have God for your guardian, than the Bank of England for your possession. You might spend the wealth of the Indies, but the infinite riches of God you can never exhaust.

Lessons
- God promises and fulfils
- Miracle money cometh to those who act in faith
- God often uses the weak to show His strength
- God is no man’s debtor
- When you rely on God He will not fail you.
- Fear causes us to withhold from God
- Faith pleases God
- Faith withdraws from God or downloads answers or cashes the promises
- God has an inexhaustible reservoir.
- God challenges us to give so that He would have opportunity to bless us super-abundantly
- if God can get money through you , he will get money to you.
- Give and it shall be given back to you , good measure, pressed down shaken together and running over
- men of God must not be afraid challenge people to give regardless of their circumstance In fact they would be impoverishing them if they do not challenge them because they do not seem to have enough. It is in giving that we receive, no sowing , no harvest.. No sacrifice. No supply, No price No Prize
- God uses he poor to meet the needs of His servants or His Church so that it would be demonstrated without a doubt that it is not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Living God.
- God’s economy is never in recession.
- God is not limited by Famine or whatever condition is prevailing or how bad a situation is..
- if the prophet is disobedient he would also suffer the consequences. Lean not on your on understanding. Do what he says and you will see the wisdom in his ‘madness’
Re: He Supplies Where He Presides
Amen!! Our God is an Awesome God...
He truly is! I can give an example of that.
I was sewing quilts one time, and i did not have
enough fabric or squares cut. Yet I said, "Lord, I
need enought to make so many quilts." Before my
eyes, the material never went down, it multiplied
and I was able to make 5 quilts with the material
for only one!!! I KNOW GOD meets our needs!!!
And this is a small miracle, but to me it is very special.
Thanks for posting this!!
I am going to put in on my refrigerator at home!!
Blessings!!

The blessings of the LORD brings
wealth,
and He adds no trouble to it. (Proverbs 10:22)
