Service, calling menial may be
Unattractive and in the dungeon
Yet faithful in the King’s employ be
Remain engaged through tick and thin
Coming someday will be your reward.

Some may disdain, ignore and jeer
Others may laugh, poke fun, trivialise
But remain in your post, give Him your all
Serve from your heart, give Him your best
He who has hired you will also pay.

Take your talent and then multiply
Invoke the divine nature that’s in you
Bearing fruit glorifies My Father
The power of His Spirit will help you
And ‘Well done thou good and faithful
Servant’ is coming to you..

How I needed to hear this word! Being in a day in day out job and care giver capacity can take its toll. I need to remind myself who is the rewarder. Thanks for posting Fenny. tc
