We are citizens of heaven
Never should we forget that
As we live in this world
As we go through trials and tribulations
This is not our home
We are but passing through
As we are walking in it
Let us do what we are called to do
Let us not fail to bear the light
Of Jesus Christ to the world
May we extend the cross
That gives us salvation
For we have the love of God
Shed abroad in our hearts
To live and give away
We shall all meet again
One day on that distant shore
Let us finish the race before us.
