Are you drunk?
Drunk with the cares of this world?
With excess and abundance?
Are you drunk?
With the things of the flesh?
Drunk with the pride of life?
Are you drunk?
With self obsession?
And what satisfies your desires?
Be not drunk with the world
Rather be drunk with the wine
Of the Holy Spirit
Let this drunkenness consume you
To be filled with heavenly joy
Let the new wine of the Spirit
Restore what the locust consumed
Giving new life and meaning
To your walk of faith
Let the living waters
Flow out from you
Fresh, new, holy
Acceptable to the Father
May you drink the wine
With the Bridge Groom
At the heavenly banquet
The wedding of the Bride of Christ
