Entering the Promised Land Empty Entering the Promised Land

Entering the Promised Land
Requires knowing is ways
As you see His acts
So that you may not stray.

They saw the miracles
The Egyptian plunder
The victories in battles
But fainted when Pharaoh pursued in lust

They saw the Red Sea part
Standing at attention
Yet the truth did not register in their heart
As they marched through
Through on dry ground
Their enemies drowning like stone
The rider and the horse hauled into the sea
They did not see the red sea as a blood trap
So they cried when they ran out of water.

The walls of Jericho fell flat
Bitter water was turned sweet
Manna fell down from heaven
Men ate the bread of angels
Yet they made idols for worship
Abusing the prosperity that God had given them
Impatient about Moses in God’s presence.

They magnified the enemy
Focused on the giants
Saw themselves as grasshoppers
Ants, the weakest link in their eyes
While they made God too small in their eyes
Yes, they dwarfed the Almighty God
In the day of their trial, in the day of their;
In the day of their test,
in the day of their tribulation Spreading doubt,
and unbelief in the camp
Causing many to weep and rebel
Ranting, in a rage, wanting to stone Moses.

But Joshua and Caleb stood strong
Choosing to focus on the power of God;
The faithfulness of God, the goodness of God;
The integrity of God; the grace of God;
The sovereignty of God; the mercy of God.
They were of a different spirit- excellent spirit,
Charging: ‘Do not rebel against the Lord.
The enemy will be bread to us.
If the Lord delights in us,
He will give us the Promised Land.’

The majority kept saying, ”We are not able.”
So doing they dug their graves in the wilderness
Nailed their coffins by every word of unbelief
They sealed their doom, reaped their gloom
Because in their heart faith had no room
Therefore they did not enter the Promised Land.

Today, child of God, saint of God,
redeemed of the Lord, blood-bought,
blood- washed, blood-kept
Have a different spirit- that of Joshua and Caleb.
Hold on from the Beginning to the End
Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of Your faith,
the Beginning and the End,
Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last.

See, not just His acts
But know well His ways
Lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him
In all of your ways, give no room to doubt
And You will enter into His rest;
Enter the Promised Land.
Stand to see your salvation
In the day test and trials
Stand in the day of opposition,
In the day of calamity
Stand to see your salvation
Sea the red see as a blood trap
And your enemies will drown in it
as the Egyptians of old
Rebel not against the Lord.
Speak His promises, stand on them
Act on them and you will be lifted
Beyond the natural plane
To a divine domain, divine dimension
And God will bring you into your Promises Land
if you will hold on to His Hand, not just in the beginning,
but from the beginning to the end.

Hebrews 3:7-15 (New King James Version)

Be Faithful

7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

“ Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,
And they have not known My ways.’
11 So I swore in My wrath,

‘ They shall not enter My rest.’”[a]

12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15 while it is said:

“ Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”[b]
