The Kingdom Of Heaven

The kingdom of heaven
Is within you ~
It is not outside you
It is not a church
Or a religion or creed
The kingdom of heaven
Comes within you
When you yield to Christ
Your heart of stone ~
God gives us a heart of clay
One that he can mold
Can shape and perfect
With his spirit of love
Let us not look in the world
To know or see God
For he comes to sup with you ~
When you become born again
In spirit and in truth
Then the kingdom of heaven
Is within you
We are told repeatedly in scripture
To guard your heart
Let no man steal thy crown
For the kingdom of heaven
Lives within you ~
You must guard it
Protect it, nurture it
With the word of God and
The holy spirit of truth
You must endure daily to the end
So that you will be saved
Let no man deceive you
For the kingdom of heaven
Is within you.

21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
