1 Corinthians 13:6 (NIV).

"Love does not delight in evil but rejoices
with the truth "

Thoughts on This Verse... Love does have its
delights. One of those delights is in what is authentic and genuine --
TRUTH! So as Jesus' disciples, we are not deceitful, manipulative, or
coercive in our relationships. Instead, we are transparent, intimate,
and honest. Why? Because true love delights in truth.

Jesus teaches us how to love, as he loves us.

KJV Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

KJV John 15:13-1713Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

KJV John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep

KJV John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 17:19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified

John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
