Doubt dogged David footsteps
His mind mauled, assaulted
A moment of unbelief, blindness
Forgetting God’s lovingkindness.
We all visit this Land of doubt
When we forget our Great Defender
We release the devil’s ability
With our confession, victim mentality.
O Lord, forgive my selective memory
Those times when I doubt your presence
Forget your faithful, precious promises
And open my mouth to spew out doubt.
