State of Faith

What is the status of your faith; God so graciously gave;
Is it enough to make sure, your sinful soul is saved?
Enough to get you through turmoil, enough for the strife;
Or is it more than that; enough to live the godly life?
Enough for you to step out; to make sure others are saved;
What is the status of your faith; that God so graciously gave?

If He called you into missions, would you stay or would you go?
Do you have enough faith; to tread that lonesome road?
Or if God asked you to be a mentor, for kids at risk;
Would you have enough to say yes Lord, I can do this?
What is the status of your faith; God so graciously gave?
Only enough to know that you alone are saved!

Kinds of faith God gives are saving, living and doing!
Which of these is yours; which is of your choosing?
It’s up to each one; are you willing to go all the way;
Or will you stop with saving; and await another day?
What is the status of your faith; God so graciously gave?
Are we content just to be happy; that we alone are saved?
