The True Friend
The True Friend
will share and fend
But are very rare
Even when queer
Have similar feathers
To flock together
They will inspire
Even repair
Through ware and tear
Lifting you from the mire
True Friends will ignite vision
Reduce your tension
Remain despite contention
And commotion.
They will protect
And respect
Not berate
But invigorate.
True Friends will care
Will Always be there
And treat you fair.
You can lay your heart bare
And not pretend.
They will understand
They will not flatter
To cause you to falter
They remain ever near
Comfort you when you fear
There through thick and thin;
Believe you till you win.
stay true to the end
That’s a true friend
26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Prov12:6
24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.Prov18:24
17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
Prov27:17
