Book of the Law Empty Book of the Law

Just as praying the word of God is powerful and dynamic, so is singing the scriptures, because:

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Heb4:12
12 Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word." Jer1:12
10 " For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Isa55:10-11

Job knew the secret:
12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food.Job23:12

18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. Heb6:18

In this thread I will link you to scripture songs called, Sing the Scriptures (STS).
As you learn them you will be effortlessly memorising the scriptures which will help you in your time of prayer and at other times of need. Besides, you can sing them as prayer or sing them prophetically, like hearing the Lord sing to you. ( Zeph3:17

Please share it with your friends.
I shall link them to youtube where possible.
Note, there might be some variations in the lyrics which were sung spontaneously.

Feel free to contact me if you want any backing tracks.

You can also make up additional verses of your own with the scriptures. Why not?

1. Book of the Law

Speak
1. This book of the Law
Shall not depart out of your mouth
But you shall meditate in it day and night
That you may observe to do
according to all that is written in it
Then you will make your way prosperous
and then you will have good success.
This book of the law shall not depart,
shall not depart out of your mouth.

2. Have I not commanded you
Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power?
Cast down every imagination
And every high thing
That exalts itself against the revealed will of the Lord

I will be with you always
till the end of the age
This book of the law shall not depart,
shall not depart out of your mouth.

3. Wherever the soles of your feet shall tread
I have given it to you
You shall decree a thing
and it shall be (it shall be ) established
Ask of me and I will give you the nations
for your inheritance
The ends of the earth for your possession
This book of the law shall not depart
shall not depart out of your mouth.

4. Behold I give you power
over the power of the enemy
power to tread upon serpents and scorpions
you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover
the blind will see, the dead will be raised
This is My will for you in this day
This book of the Law
This book of the law shall not depart,
shall not depart out of your mouth.

5. Heaven and earth will pass will pass away
But my word will not will not pass away
The grass may wither
The flowers may fade
But My word shall abide forever
I say stand on My word
and you will see My glory
This book of the law shall not depart,
shall not depart out of your mouth.

6. By two unchangeable things –
My word and my oath
It is impossible for Me to lie
Have I Spoken and will I not do?
Have I promised and will I not make good?
I say this book shall not depart out of your mouth
and then you will have good success.
This book of the law shall not depart,
shall not depart out of your mouth.

Blessed is the man who walks not
in the counsel of the ungodly
nor stands in the way of sinners
nor sits in the seat of God-mockers
but his delight is in the law of the Lord
and on His law he meditates day and night
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water
That brings forth its fruit in due season
whose leaf also shall not wither
and whatever he does shall prosper.
This book of the law shall not depart,
shall not depart out of your mouth.

Put on the Whole armour of God
That you can stand in the evil day
Having done all to stand
Take the helmet of salvation
Breastplate of righteousness
Belt of truth, shoes of the gospel
Above all the shield of faith
Take the sword of the Spirit
Which is the word of God.
This book of the law shall not depart,
shall not depart out of your mouth.

1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Ps1:1-3

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Josh1:8
