Succour for the Suffering Saint

God has one Son without sin but not one of His offspring without suffering. We will all suffer in one way or the other, be it persecution, pain, disdain, deprivation, depression, ridicule, attack from principalities and powers or from enemies from within us or our households or our Church or the world around us.
Jeremiah’s life is a good example and his writings paint a gruesome, dark picture of the loathsome dungeon and tunnel we will go through in our service for the Lord. When this happens we may groan or glow and grow. We need not call a pity party but call on the Lord, remembering that His compassion does not fail and that great is His faithfulness. He bruises us so that He can use us. And unless you are bruised you cannot be used. There will be light at the end of your tunnel.
