Mathew 6:9-13
Sometimes we connect our failures to something bad that happened in the past and we refuse to let go of the past. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus addressed to the same problem and asked us to forgive people of their bad and move on with our lives preparing ourselves for our present and future lives.“This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Your name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. (Mathew 6:9-13)
May Heavenly Father enable us to forgive others and forget what they have done to us so that we may focus on our present and future lives, in Jesus name. AMEN
