Whose Faith? Empty Whose Faith?

Post  Waqar Daniel Mon 17 Sep 2007, 7:42 pm

Every word of the Bible has a meaning for us and a use. Nothing is written just to fill up gaps and make God an imaginery character like other religious books do. The beauty of the Bible is that it can be tested to this day and will stand any test in the future.

In New Testament, we read yet another wonderful loving-kindness of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ for His creation.

Some men brought to Him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their He said to the paralytic, 'Take heart son; your sins are forgiven' (Mathew 9:1-2)

Most of the times we hear that it is our faith that counts in our healing process, however, here Jesus counted the faith of the friends of the paralytic.

It was the faith of the friends of paralytic which made shower the mercy, kindness and love of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ to move.

Sometimes, when we see any family member, friend, neighbor or anyone whom you care about going astray, we must pray to God with all our faith in Him to restore that person's life.

God bless you all

You know why I liked this post so much? Because I never understood the meaning of this miracle and the story behind it. I believe that God does listen to our prayers when we pray on others. God does open their hearts and eyes so that they may see the glory of God.

Our God is great and awesome.

I believe with all my heart and soul because I used to pray for my mother and sister because they were not Christians. God did listen to me and they are saved now and more religious than I am. affraid

I always call my mum a Pastor as she is always telling me what is good and what is wrong.
