The Word Veiled to the unbeliever

God will not listen to the prayers of an unrepentant heart. The only prayer God hears from a lost person is the sinner’s prayer, the prayer of repentance. If you are not a child of God then you are a child of the devil, there is no in between; it is also the same way with going to hell or to Heaven. There is no middle ground. The unbeliever’s heart is cold towards God, and thereby cannot understand the things of God. Jesus said in Matthew 13: 13-15 {this is why I speak to them in parables, though seeing, they do not see, though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, You will be ever hearing but never understanding, you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused, they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.} And Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 {for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. The intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate}. And also in verse 14 of the same chapter says {The man with out the spirit does not accept the things that come from the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned} and again in 2 Corinthians 4:3 {And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers. So that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God} Notice in this verse that the word god is written with a small g, this indicates that {the god of this world} is actually the devil. The devil does not want anyone to understand the light of the Gospel. He wants everyone to stay in spiritual darkness. People will take hold of the word of God and tell you, I read the Bible but I can’t understand it. This too is so true for without the Holy Spirit nobody can understand the word of God. But once you receive the Spirit of God then your eyes will be open; with this I mean the eyes of your understanding. The word of God tells us that God has hidden this from the wise and reveals it to babes. The Word of God will open itself to you only when you are ready to receive it with your heart. Only when you are ready will he show you great and mighty things from the word and their meaning. {It is of the mysterious wisdom of God that we talked about, the wisdom that was hidden, which God predestined to be for our glory before the ages began. None of the rulers of the age recognized it; for if they had recognized it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory} in Mathew 5:14. {At that time Yeshua said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.} Also in Mathew 13:25, {This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world."} God will reveal to us, all of the mystery of his word. But for now He will only speak clear to his servants. So! Are you his servant or not? You can be today by simply saying the sinner’s prayer. Read the letter, ‘Are You Regenerated?’ The word of God has this to say in Matthew 22:8-14: {Then he said to his servants, `The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.' So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, `Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, `Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' For many are called but few are chosen.} Yeshua is simply saying He invited the Jews but they have rejected him. He sent us his servants to go make disciples for Him so we go and tell the world about Yeshua’s love and wrath. Many will accept the gospel, but like Judas they are not true believers. They never mantle themselves with His clothing. They outwardly confess him, but in the inside they were dead towards Yeshua and his teachings which are repent and believe. If some of them did repent they never waited upon the Holy Spirit to come in and change them; instead they fell by the wayside and were never rooted in God’s word. I believe the Holy Spirit comes into your life only when you mean business with God. Our Heavenly Father knows if you are sorry or not for all your sins; you can cover up with fellow friends, but never with Him. The truth of the matter is only a few will go to heaven, in comparison to the many whom will go to Hell. All because of pride; and this pride will keep you from humbling yourself and asking Yeshua to save you. You are the only reason that he came from Heaven to die so that you may have everlasting life. Throughout the whole Old Testament the Torah Yahweh told the Israelites how to cover their sins by spilling the blood of animals; that animal had to be perfect without spot or blemish. Yahweh got tired of their sacrifices and gave us a new covenant more perfect than the old. Hebrews 9: 8-15, {this has an important lesson for us today.{ For under the old system, gifts and sacrifices were offered, but these failed to cleanse the hearts of the people who brought them. For the old system dealt only with certain rituals--what foods to eat and drink, rules for washing themselves, and rules about this and that. The people had to keep these rules to tide them over until Christ came with God's new and better way. He came as High Priest of this better system which we now have. He went into that greater, perfect tabernacle in heaven, not made by men or part of this world, and once for all took blood into that inner room, the Holy of Holies, and sprinkled it on the mercy seat; but it was not the blood of goats and calves. No, he took his own blood, and with it he, by himself, made sure of our eternal salvation. And if under the old system the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of young cows could cleanse men's bodies from sin, just think how much more surely the blood of Christ will transform our lives and hearts. His sacrifice frees us from the worry of having to obey the old rules, and makes us want to serve the living God. For by the help of the eternal Holy Spirit, Christ willingly gave himself to God to die for our sins--he being perfect, without a single sin or fault. Christ came with this new agreement so that all who are invited may come and have forever all the wonders God have promised them. For Christ died to rescue them from the penalty of the sins they had committed while still under that old system.} Words could not express the love of Yeshua for you and me. tell us you have repented and received His pardon and if you do that this will be your first step towards heaven. The bible clearly says that you need to confess Him before man, so then He will confess you before His father in heaven. Read Romans 10:9-13. This is a big step but you must take it. All the Christians of the world had to do this for by doing so you are obeying the word of God. Tell somebody who is a believer so that we can both rejoice in this great salvation. The Word Vail to the Unbeliever Empty Re: The Word Vail to the Unbeliever

Dear Lee & Anastasia

Thank you for a powerful message that every one should try to understand and learn from it. There are certain words that we do not understand and take them very lightly. These words if understood, will make our whole world change in to a believing and a God fearing Christian. Every word of God has a meaning and use for us. As Jesus said:

The words that I speak to you are spirit; and they are life (John 6:63)

To many, God's Words do not make any sense and they try to put their inferior logic into use. People who are perishing to the knowledge of this world, may doubt the word of God but Jesus made a remarkable statement.

This is why I speak to them in parables:
"Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand." (Mathew 13:13)

If we look at the history of parables and why they were created; we learn that they were challenges in olden times in the present age for wisdom. Anyone who could understand a parable and make out the meaning was known to be wise. In wars, cold wars, bomb attacks, people still use parables and only the person who has the code could understand them. If we look in other religions, anyone, who spoke in parables, was considered to be a god or a prophet. As one of the suicide bomber sent a secret message to his fellow terrorists to get ready, the message read The flowers will reach on Monday.

Now when we study Bible, pride is the only sin, that is countered by God Himself - WHY? - because pride makes a person a god, and the same mortal man stands against God. Like Pharoah, stood up against God, thinking that he has power and authority over everything. In other words, he challenged God.

and I have broken the pride of your strength, and have made your heavens as iron, and your earth as brass; (Lev 26:19)

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts (Psa 10:4)

Let lips of falsehood become dumb, That are speaking against the righteous, Ancient sayings, in pride and contempt. (Psa 31:18)

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, And a froward mouth, I have hated (Pro 18:3)

There are many verses on pride, and I have quoted a handful of them. Now when Jesus said that He uses parables, Jesus actually challenged all those people, who reject Jesus as the only crucified and resurrected LORD and Savior. These people will never humble themselves in front of God and will speak and act to their own destruction, just like Pharoah.

Those who humble themselves in front of God, are afraid of wrath of God, and follow God's commands, with all their heart, soul and strength, are able to understand the parables as if they were not parables. Jesus actually, gave us a proof that all those who humble themselves before God, to them secrets of heavens will be opened and they will surely know the God Almighty through the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God Almighty.

God bless you both and make you a light for others and may you win souls for the honor and glory of Almighty God, in Jesus name. AMEN.

A very powerful message and I agree with Daniel that we should all read it so that we may understand the meaning of true faith. It is explained very well that touches the heart.

God bless you
