Lord my truest friend

I'm going into the winter
to step unto the snow
listen to the quiet
hear the river flow
waiting for each sunrise
to praise the Lord again
knowing in my heart and soul
the Lord my truest friend.
I walk on each snowflake
and hear the crinkle under feet
hearing angels singing
with their voices ever sweet
