Telling Jesus Bye

We cry out to the Lord and he hears us and meets our needs.

He brings us close to him and forgives our evil deeds.

Through faith are we saved by God’s mercy and his grace!

So why then do we make His precious gift, such a waste?

Our faith we can not touch but we are in complete control;

For some run very hot, while others run warm or cold.

And faith endures trials and faith understands temptation.

Faith sees the evil of this world and produces separation.

Faith obeys God’s Word and faith acts wise.

Faith displays itself in works, not in disguise.

Faith invokes doers and faith solicits godly submission.

Faith controls the tongue and awaits the Lord’s permission.

So why say bye to Jesus, when he meets our every need?

Why turn back again, to our evil deeds?

Daniel asks the questions and ponders, why!

While Satan smiles at us for telling Jesus bye.

Thank you Irv for your kindness, may God bless you with understanding, wisdom and knowledge for the glory of Heavenly Father in Jesus name AMEN. I love this proverb and this proverb has been a guide to me in the testing times.
If anyone turns a deaf ear to the Law,
even his prayers are detestable (Proverbs 28:9)

Telling Jesus Bye Empty Thank You

Post  Irv Everett Mon 25 Feb 2008, 10:57 pm

No, Daniel Thank You for the thought. God is too good to step away from but Satan has a way to twist thing around. My son has fallen and he has been in a struggle to get back to God. I guess when you fall away from God it does take three times as long to find your way back; at least that what it took Joseph and Mary to find Jesus in the temple. Thanks again your friend in Christ; Irv
