EXODUS 32
There is a great message for us in Exodus 32 and we will see what message it holds for us in 21st century and for future Christians.
When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, "Come make us gods who will go before us..." (Exodus 32:1)
Although, God saved the Israelites from the slavery of Egyptians, yet they were too impatient. Similarly, when we face problems and we assume that God has left us, we try a short cut, similar to Israelites. Sometimes, we forget, how great is our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ and we make our problems our god. Or like many, we turn to false gods like astrology, mediums and even spirits. We need to learn to be patient in seeking God and His blessings.
Moses saw that the people were running wild and that Aaron had let them get out of control and so become a laughing stock to their enemies. (Exodus 32:25)
When we sin against God and start living in that sin, it gets out of control. People due to our sin mock at us and we become a laughing stock for our enemies. Here let us take an example of adultery; when a man and a woman commits adultery, although seeking pleasure, the woman becomes a public property and man finds no pleasure in one woman. The woman seeks more and more men and same is the case with the man. This way both become a luaghing stock for others.

Learning Points
- How hard times we face, we should only worship God and rely on His help only.
- There should be no disorder in our lives.
- God does punish people who forsake Him and build other gods for themselves.
- We must be careful and watchful for satan's attacks
God bless
