Lord, pitch my tent in the City of David.
Bid me that peace and freedom that’s evaded.
Allow me to live free in thy pasture like cattle.
For, I ache for thy unity after these battles.
Lord, I desire that mountain, that Jerusalem.
Lead me to that Utopia to dwell with the Lamb.
My heart yearns for the Church of the First Born.
Grant me that peace of mind, present life has torn.
I long for Heaven to rest this wandering man.
Lord, set me out in thy safe Homeland.
