I liked the way you have explained the First Miracle of Jesus. If we look at the process of wine making, it becomes more interesting.

Wine making has been around for thousands of years and in its basic form there is very little a human being can do. God has provided us with everything. There are basically Five Basic Components in making a wine.

Harvesting
Harvesting or picking is certainly the first step in the actual wine making process. If we read the Bible from Old Testament to Revelation, we find that God picked people for His purpose. There is a plan for every human being. The fruits (humans)that are right for the wine making process only that get through and others are rejected.
Crushing and Pressing
Crushing the whole clusters of fresh ripe grapes is traditionally the next step in the wine making process. Once we accept Jesus as our LORD and Savior, this process begins where a change starts to begin within our spirits.
Fermentation
Fermentation is indeed the magic at play in the making of wine. In our lives, we are seasoned by God by going through various trials and triumphs. As in wine after fermentation the taste comes out, in the same way after difficulties we face and learn how to be patient through prayer and thanksgiving, our spirit is changed forever.
Clarification
Winemakers have the option of racking or siphoning their wines from one tank or barrel to the next in the hope of leaving the precipitates and solids called pomace in the bottom of the fermenting tank. Filtering and fining may also be done at this stage. In the same way we start understanding the Word of God and the spirit starts its work to filter out what evil is left among us, preparing us for the next stage.
Aging and Bottling
The final stage of the wine making process involves the aging and bottling of wine. After clarification, the winemaker has the choice of bottling a wine immediately, or can give a wine additional aging. Further aging can be done in bottle, stainless steel or ceramic tanks, large wooden ovals, or small barrels, commonly called barriques.

In the same way we are conditioned through spirit and only then we come to know the purpose of our lives on earth. Some are sent directly into the harvest field, yet some are seasoned more to do wonders and miracles so that Heavenly Father may be glorified in our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
