With cord of love I draw you
Come now to Me, my beloved
Run towards Me. Why hold back?
Respond to my entreaty, overture.
Rise to Abraham’s confidence
Like Mary, be consumed with Me
Be not encumbered like Martha
Like David, let Me be your desire-
That one thing that you seek after.
Debunk that which brings leanness
Famish, desert, loss of communion.
My love for you knows no bounds

Come to Me, My child, today

Come boldly to the Throne of Grace.
The veil is rent from top to bottom
Arise, shake off the dust, enter in.
Remove those rags, sackclothes
I give you beauty for ashes today
The oil of joy in place of mourning
Time to put on the garments of praise
Let me put the ring in your finger
Hear the music play! Let us dance
Sit on the banqueting table, let’s sup.
For, you are the bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh, come to refresh.
