Where is God in your Plans?
Be wise this year. O man
Life appears like a vapour

Here it is, then gone, out the door?

Planning for tomorrow is wise
It will surely help you to rise
Planning without a doubt is good
Helps you sift trees from wood.

In planning you count the cost
And this is proper for the just
They say, ‘Those who do not plan
Plan to fail.’ Is this your plan?

Those who aim at nothing
Will surely hit it: Nothing!
Those who have no goal
Will have, ‘No Go’.

Where is God In Your Plans? CG1C

God Almighty plans
And wants His children to plan
But planning without God
Is also planning to fail
Whilst planning in line with His Word
Is the plan that will prevail and assail.
Be not like the foolish rich young man
Who did not have God in his plans.

And line your plans with it
His plan is the best for you
Embrace it and run with it.

It is good to dream big dreams
But let God be at the centre
Let your dream come from Him
Let Him be the Alpha and Omega.

Tomorrow is promised no one

Prov.27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring forth

James 4:13-17

¹³Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." ¹⁴Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. ¹⁵Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." ¹⁶As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. ¹⁷Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.

Let your plans be rich with the mind of Christ, the will of God

Luke 12:16-21 NIV

¹⁶And he told them this parable: "The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. ¹⁷He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.'

¹⁸"Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. ¹⁹And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." '

²⁰"But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?'

²¹"This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God."

Let God be at the epicentre of your plans

Prov.16:9 ⁹ In his heart a man plans his course,
but the LORD determines his steps.

1Cor10:31 ³¹So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Unless You are doing the will of God you are a failure

Success is finding the will of God and doing it; fulfilling it

Matt7:21 ²¹"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

God’s plan for salvation is NOW!

"In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you."^[a] I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.

If you fail to plan

you plan to fail

But if you plan without God

You also plan to fail.

Being on the road to success

Is finding the will of God and giving yourself to it

Ultimately success is fulfilling the will of God for your life.
