If You Perceive it and Conceive
you can Achieve it.’

Perception is crucial, pertinent for progress.

One man sees the glass as half-empty, the other sees it as half -full.

One man representing his company went to Africa and saw many walking bare-feet. He came back with a report to his managers: There is no market there. Don’t bother wasting your time and resources with them. They prefer going bare-feet.

Another representative who went to the same place came back with a different report. His was glowing, upbeat and inspirational. ‘Wow! you will not believe this. This is the most promising place I have ever set foot on in planet earth. There is a great, unbelievable need for shoes. In fact it is a pot of gold waiting to be mined. It is a field full of oil to be tapped. Let us waste no time in pitching our tent and prepare to mine this pot of gold, field of oil.’

The company broke into Africa and outsold their rivals, making mammoth profits.

If you were the Managing Director of the company which representative would you retain or fire?

Twelve spies were sent to spy the Land of Canaan. Ten of them brought an evil report:

27 Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there.

And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 There we saw the giants[a] (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Num.13:32-33

Compare that perspective to that of Joshua and Caleb:

30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

The negative report was so bad and strong that the whole congregation was infected. It spread like cancer and most people bought it and soon there was wailing in the camp from top to bottom.

1 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why has the LORD brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” 4 So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.” Num.14:1-4

Joshua and Caleb refused to be infected and maintained their testimony and perception. They saw what others saw and even beyond. They saw through the eyes of God. And God was pleased with them. That was why others died in the wilderness but Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land.

Has God given you a personal promise and are giants popping up in the land? Are you tempted to focus on the giants rather than the word of God? Don’t do it. Imitate Joshua and Caleb. Keep your eyes on the Lord- the Author and Finisher of your faith. Have the right perspective. See through His eyes. Pray the promise. Confess what you believe. Praise and thank before you see the manifestation. God is not a man that He should lie neither the Son of man that He should repent. If He said it, He will do it despite the giant, the Goliaths or ion or bears.

Conceive it

The word of God is seed. Let it find a good soil in you . Water it with prayer and corresponding faith-filled actions. The word of God will not return to God empty but will accomplish that which He pleases, prosper in the thing whereunto it is sent. The flowers may fade, the grass may wither but the word of God abides forever. He watches over His word to perform it. Heaven and earth will pass away but the word of God will not pass away.

The word of God is also seed like the one a woman receives from a man that breaks her ovulation cycle and causes her to be pregnant. You may have been going on in cycles and circles but as you receive the seed of the word of God meditate on it day and night you will incubate it to the point of conception and you will become pregnant with the promise and give birth to the child of promise. Your perception will bring about a conception that will bring about a realisation or actualisation.

Perspective Is pertinent
Come up a high Mountain.’
He told His disciples.
Why? You may want to know.
For godly perspective
To live boldly on the earth.

Up there ‘BIG’ becomes small
Boulders become pebbles;
Mountains become mole hills;
Rivers become puddles;
Giants become dwarfs.

So see through God’s eyes,
Your future as bright as the stars;
Your problems, passage to glory;
Your barriers, bastions of beauty;
Your pains, portals of gain.

Perspective is pertinent to progress.
Mountains, no matter how big
Can be moved by faith.
Valleys, no matter how deep
Can be raised through God.
Now go down and live bold!

Nothing shall be impossible!

[quote]
1After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

Have you noticed when you‘re on an aeroplane high up in the sky and the skyscrapers and heavy duty lorries all become so small like ants? Why? This is because of where we are positioned.

Similarly the word of God says we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We need to acknowledge this word of God and start operating from this realm and enforcing the victory Christ has won for us. Let us rise and take our place high up ad have a different view, a divine view, a possibility view, to the glory of God. Let us confess that if the Lord delights in us, He will give us the land. The giants we see will be bread for us. Truly eyes have not seen, ear has not heard, neither has the mind conceived what God has in store for us who believe in Him.

Fenny this is a wonderful article and I agree that we should be positive in all respect because we do not rely on ourselves but on God. Sometimes we do fall into snare like "doubts", however, if we rely on God there are no doubts for in Jesus all the promises of Heavenly Father are YES (2 COr 1:20)

God bless you
