Yes, I Can; Yes, We Can,
Not because I say so
But because He says so.
Therefore I declare to every foe,
That the will of God shall be done
In this New Era that has dawned.
God almighty shall take pre-eminence;
His prevalence shall be evidenced.
His mastery shall be matchless.
His power shall be limitless.
His dominion shall be endless.

Yes, I can, yes, we can,
Because His word says.
'I can do all things through Christ
Who strengthen, empowers
and energises and fuels me.'

Yes, I can, yes, we can,
Because He said,
In my weakness His strength
Will be made perfect.
And I am complete in Him,
And sufficient in His sufficiency.

Yes, I can, yes, we can,
Because He said,
Greater is He who is in me
Than he who is in the world;
And whoever is born of God
Overcomes this world;
and this is the victory
that overcomes the world, even my faith.

Yes, I can, yes, we can,
Because no weapon fashioned
against me shall prosper
and every tongue that rises up
against me, in judgement, I condemn;
and when the enemy rises up
like a flood against me,
the Spirit of the Lord will
raise a standard against him.

That standard says:
'He is accepted in the beloved.
He is the-redeemed-of-the-Lord.
He has passed from death unto life.
No curse causeless can alight on him.'

The blood speaks for me;
It speaks better things
than the blood of bulls and goats.
It speaks:
'Surely, goodness and mercy
Shall follow him
All the days of his life.
He will not come out empty-handed.
He is coming out loaded.
He shall not lack anything good
He shall be the head and not the tail.
Whatever he lays his hand
to do shall prosper.
Wherever the soles of his feet
shall tread belongs to him.

Yes, I can, yes, we can,
Because God is working
Everything together for his good
Because he loves me and He is called
according to My purposes
And if I Am for him,
who can be against him?

Yes I can, yes, we can,
Because the angelic hosts
Are on assignment for me, for us
And we are more than conquerors
through Christ, the
Captain of our Salvation.

Yes, I can, yes, we can,
Because Salvation belongs to the Lord
And the battle is not ours but the Lord’s
And His banner of us is love
And behold what manner of love the Lord
has bestowed upon us,
That we should be called
the children of God;
heirs of God and join-heirs with God.

Because the Word of God is powerful
Dynamic, razor-sharp, sharper than
any two-edged sword; it is a hammer
that can crack any nut,
a bulwark that can bulldoze
any wall or barrier.
He has given me His exceeding
great and precious promises,
that by theseI should be made a
partaker of the divine nature.
That nature overcomes.
That nature wins.
That nature prevails and assails
In the face of storms, adversity,
Tempests, temptation, trials, tests.
Adversity brings maturity and purity.

Because He’s a faithful God,
Powerful God,
Merciful God and can be trusted
To keep against that day,
That which is committed to His hands.
The everlasting arms are underneath.

Because we have a Priest
And an Advocate Who
Is interceding for us before the Father
He is pleading our case
And He never loses a case.
He is the Priest after the order of Melchizedek
who has th power f an endless life.

Yes, I can; yes, we can,
Because our God is
The all-sufficient, the all –knowing
and the ever-present God,
Able to do exceeding abundantly
Far above what we can think;
Far above our wildest dream.
He speaks and it is done,
commands and it comes into being.
He has the whole world in His hands,
owns the earth in all its fullness,
and is able to do as occasion demands.

Because the will of God is for me to go
from grace to grace ,
strength to strength,
glory to glory
and faith to faith,
And His thoughts towards me
are not thoughts of evil but of goodness mercy
Following me all the days of my life.
His thoughts towards me is
a thought of peace,
shalom- nothing missing
and nothing broken,
Going from barrenness to fruitfulness
Having a future filled with hope;
Fulfilling the purposes
He foreordained for me
Before the foundation of the world.

What a beautiful exhortatin Fenny! We are more than conquers through Christ who
strengthens us... Loved this!! This would be a great song put to music. Have you thought of that?
