Who Shall Separate Us?

Who shall separate us
From the love of God?
Who shall alienate us
From the love of God?
Who shall drive a wedge
Between us and God?

Shall affliction, shall accusation?
Shall bullying threats, backstabbing,
Backbiting, brokenness, burdens or beheading?
Shall crisis, confusion, calamity, catastrophe
confinement, conflict, clouds or crucifixion?

No! No way!

Who shall build a wall
Between us and God?
Who shall bar us
From the presence of God?
Who shall pluck us
out of the Hand of God?

Shall death, devastation, destitution, dominions,
disgrace, disease, depression, despair or dangers?
Shall demons, devils, dungeons or deepest depths?
Shall enemies, enslavement or endangerment?
Shall fires, fear, faults, falls, flaws, failure or famine?
Shall guilt, Goliaths or gagging?
Shall hunger, hatred, homelessness,
humiliation, harassment or hardships?

No! No way!

Shall impeachment, impediment or imprisonment?
Shall ostracism or opinions?
Shall principalities, pain or persecution,
Shall penury, peril, pits, punishment or poverty?
Shall racism, rivers or ruin?
Shall starvation, sorrow, shame,
storm or shipwreck?
Shall tribulation, trial, temptation or tragedy?

No Way!
In all these things
The King of kings, brings
Overwhelming victory
To you and me.
