Given Unto You

Given Unto You
Lord, I love you and have committed to you, my life.
Yet Lord, I have a question about my son and some strife.
I probably already know the answer and ponder, why ask.
But I am his father and I guess that’s my task.
Lord, when will he turn into, the man that he can be?
I’ve heard that the apple don’t fall far from the tree.
Yes Lord, it did take me quite some time.
I guess he’ll get there too, when he makes up his mind.
I just worry about him Lord, he is my only son.
But it’s not my will; thy will be done.
It’s just hard to stand back when he has these three kids.
I guess, this is not half as hard, as what you did.
But I see my grandkids from his first wife.
And I see how they struggle to make sense of life.
And they ask those questions causing a lump in my throat.
I answer as best I can; but it seems hard for them to cope.
But I know everything will be alright Lord, given unto you.
I am so very sorry Lord, I sound like a blubbering fool.
I’m sure things are going according to your plan.

Yes it is prayer of everyone who is concerned about their loved ones. I agree with you that God's will may done in all respect. I believe in His promise that He will bless our children. This is a promise made bu God himself in the Bible. If we train our children according to the teachings of the Bible, then God will surely bless them and they will not be lost to this world.

Many believers go through this worry but I think we must pray instead of worry and God's plan for everyone of us is good as God loves whatever He has created. I love the last verse
