WINE Empty WINE

Post  JesusSaves Sun 16 Dec 2007, 4:01 pm

Wine in it self is completely harmless; it is the alcohol that is the killer and against God's will for His people. There are three and only three scriptures in the Bible that shows us that wine can be a natural way of healing, Proverbs 31:6, Ecclesiastes 10:19, 1 Timothy 5:23. Nutritionist and some doctors will even tell you that there is something in the wine that is very good for you. But the alcohol it self is something to stay away from.

Wine without alcohol is no wine and I do not agree with you on this. Alcohol clears our stomach, kidneys and liver. I do agree that over dose of alcohol surely opens doors to sin. I have seen many addicted to wine, abusing their wives and children. They would do anything for their addiction. One of my uncles who was addicted to drinking, was very nice at night and in the morning he used to forget all his promises he had made the previous night. So we used to play tricks on him, at night we used to ask for anything and made him do it. Then in the morning when he used to come to his senses, he used to get angry when he realised that we had made a fool of him. Now he is free from this addiction and we miss his old habit becasue we enjoyed lot of gifts Laughing .
