Jesus Taught Us How To Live Empty Jesus Taught Us How To Live

Post  Waqar Daniel Sun 01 Jul 2007, 9:10 pm

Greetings, peace and blessings in the name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Matthew 3:8 Prove by the way you live that you have really turned from your sins and turned to God.

Matthew 5:20 "But I warn you--unless you obey God better than the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees do, you can't enter the Kingdom of Heaven at all!

Matthew 7:21 "Not all people who sound religious are really godly. They may refer to me as `Lord,' but they still won't enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The decisive issue is whether they obey my Father in heaven. 22 On judgment day many will tell me, `Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' 23 But I will reply, `I never knew you. Go away; the things you did were *unauthorized. *(Or unlawful.)

Matthew 16:27
For I, the Son of Man, will come in the glory of my Father with his angels and will judge all people according to their deeds.

Luke 6: 46 "So why do you call me `Lord,' when you won't obey me?

Luke 13:24 "The door to heaven is narrow. Work hard to get in, because many will try to enter,

John 8:31 Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings.

John 14:15 "If you love me, obey my commandments.

Romans 2:12 God will punish the Gentiles when they sin, even though they never had God's written law. And he will punish the Jews when they sin, for they do have the law. 13 For it is not merely knowing the law that brings God's approval. Those who obey the law will be declared right in God's sight.

Romans 3:31
Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.

Romans 6:1 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more kindness and forgiveness? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

Romans 6:11
So you should consider yourselves dead to sin and able to live for the glory of God through Christ Jesus. 12 Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to its lustful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become a tool of wickedness, to be used for sinning. Instead, give yourselves completely to God since you have been given new life. And use your whole body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God.

Titus 2:12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with self-control, right conduct, and devotion to God,

James 4:8 Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, you hypocrites.

James 4:11 Don't speak evil against each other, my dear brothers and sisters. If you criticize each other and condemn each other, then you are criticizing and condemning God's law.

James 4:17 Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

1 John 2:3 And how can we be sure that we belong to him? By obeying his commandments. 4 If someone says, "I belong to God," but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person is a liar and does not live in the truth.

1 John 3:4 Those who sin are opposed to the law of God, for all sin opposes the law of God. 5 And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, for there is no sin in him. 6 So if we continue to live in him, we won't sin either. But those who keep on sinning have never known him or understood who he is.

1 John 3:9 Those who have been born into God's family do not sin, because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning, because they have been born of God.

1 John 5:18 We know that those who have become part of God's family do not make a practice of sinning, for God's Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot get his hands on them.

Jude 1:4 I say this because some godless people have wormed their way in among you, saying that God's forgiveness allows us to live immoral lives. The fate of such people was determined long ago, for they have turned against our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:16
But since you are like lukewarm water, I will spit you out of my mouth!

God bless
