Truth
Why beat around the bush, to say the things we want to say?
Most people don’t care or they’re not listening anyway.
We try to find the exact words to make it sound more pleasing.
And we zig and zag around the point to keep from hurting feelings.
Hey, you’re a sinner and your soul needs to be saved;
Stop enjoying the sins of this world and being Satan’s slave
You ought to be ashamed of the life that you lead.
Stop lusting after the things you don’t have and focus on what you need.
You’re a sinner, you’ll always be one, and you’ll die and go to Hell.
You need to come to the Father and drink from Jesus’ well.
I don’t care where you are; you have a soul to save.
Get down right where you are; put your hands together and pray.
Say, God, I am sorry, I have sinned against you.
Please come into my heart and make my life anew.
I deserve the penalty of death, but Jesus died for me.
With your help Lord I turn from sin and put my trust in thee.
Amen
