Good Writers Paint Pictures With Words

Good writers paint pictures with words.
Using metaphors and stories they have heard.
With their pen they sculpture and carve.
They weave beautiful tapestries to unnerve and serve.
Their words like mirrors, they reflect.
Their structures like magnificent edifice, stand erect.
They can take you to the highest heaven,
And make you wallow in your desired haven.
With words they can cook a delicatessen,
And make your mouth water before you’ve seen.
They leave you longing, “More please, more!”,
Until your throat goes hoarse and sore.
