O Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land
The author penned these words
In reference to Isaiah
To the scriptural text, he’d heard
No more shall thy be forsaken
Neither thy land be desolate
For thou are a delight, unto the Lord
For you, His marriage awaits
Visibly touched by the Holy Spirit
Enlighten by God’s mercy and grace
Overcome, after only, the first two verses
He fell upon his face
The following Sunday, he finished the song
Verses three and four
And once again, so influenced by emotion
He fell upon the floor
He could only weep and pray
Of the Holy Mansion and shining shore
Of a Heavenly home, where he’d live forever
Home forever more
O Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land
Where our faith, shall end
Our Heavenly home, where we’ll live forever
