Smooth Wrinkles

To temporarily smooth wrinkles, apply tape over the area and leave on overnight. When removed, you will have a very temporary smoothing of the lines. What I would recommend instead is to pinch the area in question for 10 seconds before applying your night cream. This increases circulation and helps firm the area that is lined or sagging.

Anti-aging for those of us who have already aged!

Noticing wrinkles? Tired of sagging skin? You must start working to correct it!! Try products with AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) to continually remove dead skin cells and keep skin looking smooth. Also, you can try getting a professional face peel at a salon/spa...don't panic, it's just a deep exfoliation! A series of at least three treatments (peels) should have your skin looking and feeling like new!

Don't Believe Everything You Hear

You may have heard a nasty rumor that Alpha Hydroxy acids thin the skin—this is false. AHA exfoliates the top layer of the skin and assists in the removal of dead skin cells. However, it is only a mere day or two before the body replenishes the skin with beautiful, new cells that give the skin a radiant appearance. Changing your lifestyle can help put the aging process in slow motion.

Take care of Your Skin

To the extent you can control the speed at which your skin ages—be good to your skin and it will be good to you. Treat your face to great, natural skin care products. Additionally, follow these skin care tips that will assist in the anti-aging process: Drink 6 to 8 glasses of purified or spring water daily—this will keep your body hydrated both inside and out. Keep stress levels at a minimal. Each time you become stressed out your body produces big amounts of cortisol, a steroid hormone that makes your body create excess oil; this will clog pores and glands and may lead to blemish issues. Do whatever you need to do to keep stress levels down—exercise, take naps, get a massage, spend time with friends, etc.).

Stop Father Time in his Tracks

Just as you experienced growth spurts in life, it is also likely that you will experience aging spurts. During these periods, the skin will seem to age at a much quicker rate than other times in life. This may seem like a lost cause for your skin but it isn't—there are anti-aging techniques that you can use to preserve your skin's youthful appearance. You can do this by taking proper care of your body. The most blatantly obvious signs of aging is changes in the appearance of the skin—the dreaded wrinkles, lines, and puffiness. Skin aging is most commonly cause by frequent exposure to the sun and harsh elements in the environment. Protect your skin and you'll slow the effects. Products that contain AHA ingredients can slow down the dreaded signs of skin aging and help you to achieve healthier, younger-looking skin that you can be proud of.

Youngblood Troubleshooting

While cosmetics are great products, there is a chance that you will occasionally run into some minor application problems. Here are some common problems and some great solutions: Problem: If the makeup appears mask-like, chalky, or too thick, you've over-applied, the color is too light, or you've used the wrong application tool. Solution: Mix two shades together, or put thick layer of moisturizer on before applying makeup so it blends better.
