The Most High
If I could describe the Living God
Of whom I have never seen
I would pick words like perfect and good
But holy would be the main thing
I would choose words like impartial and humble
And say that He’s faithful and forgiving
I would opt for words like jealous and meek
And words like just and unchanging
I would say O how He hates sin
Yet He’s slow to anger, slow to wrath
That He’s gentle and kind; He’s merciful
And He’s compassionate on our behalf

He’s best described, loving

Irv, I so enjoy reading your poems.
They have an underlining of humbleness
and meekness to them. You truly have
gotten this one right, God is Holy.
