When the Ground Shakes

When the ground shakes around me
And the earth holds no water
In a quake that wants to engulf me
I will look to the Alpha and Omega.
When the pangs of death confront me,
And the floods of ungodliness overwhelm,
And sea of sinfulness surrounds me,
I will not be move to join in with them.
When the coils and tentacles of hell entangle
And my enemies surround me like bees,
I will cry out to the Lord Who is more than able;
All-powerful, merciul, Master of the Sea.
He is my stronghold and Shelter
He is my Shield, Strength and Salvation
He is my Sun, Hope and Helper
God of every Nation, Rock of Salvation.
He will draw me out of many waters;
Plant my feet on His Rock to stay.
He will fight for me, make my war His matter.
He will make a way where there is no way.
The Lord will strike His lightning,
Scatter and confuse all my foes.
A fire will go before Him, devouring
Their arrows and all who cause me sorrow.
Blessed be the name of the Lord!
The Most High, the Ancient of Days;
Who is the Rock except our God?
My praise shall rise to You all of my days.
You uttered Your Voice and there was a great calm
You flew on the wings of the wind
None can match Your awesome greatness, Great I Am
You make my feet like the hind’s.
You make me bold and strong.
You give me a song in the night.
You have avenged all the wrong;
Enabled me to fight the good fight of faith.
Through my God I will leap over walls.
Through my God I can bend bronze bows.
Through my God I can stand tall like Paul
Through my God I can snap any arrow.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord-
The Most High, the Ancient of Days!
